Fuller House star John Stamos recently took to social media to tease the fifth and final season of the Netflix show. But, when he posted a cast pic that included Lori Loughlin, fans immediately called him out and doubted that she would be part of Season 5 after her involvement in the Varsity Blues college admission scandal.
“Gearing up for the 5th and final,” wrote Stamos in the post that featured the Fuller House cast photo.

Neither Netflix nor the producers of Fuller House have publicly commented about Loughlin’s case that has her and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, facing prison time, but multiple reports claim that she will not return this season as Rebecca Donaldson-Katsopolis, Danny Tanner’s (Bob Saget) co-host on Wake Up, San Francisco and the wife of Stamos’ character, Uncle Jesse.
“I just don’t think aunt Becky will make it to the 5th season,” wrote one of Stamos’ fans, while another added, “I’m just here for the comments about Lori Loughlin and her felonious behavior.”
According to The Blast, one fan pitched a storyline for Season 5, with the idea that “Aunt Becky paid her way to the top spot of Wake Up San Francisco when Danny was clearly more qualified.”
There was still plenty of support for Loughlin, with some fans saying that Loughlin deserves a second chance and shouldn’t be kicked off the show.
The cast and crew will begin shooting the final season of Fuller House this month, and both Stamos and Saget seemingly support Loughlin but aren’t allowed to say it publicly.

The Fuller House cast has promised fans that the last season will be the best one yet after Season 4 ended with the birth of Stephanie’s baby via surrogate, and the cliffhanger of Jimmy proposing marriage. Some have predicted that Season 5 will see three weddings: Jimmy and Stephanie, Kimmy and Fernando, and DJ and Steve.
With the exception of Loughlin, all major cast members are expected to return, including Candace Cameron Bure (DJ), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie), and Andrea Barber (Kimmy).
